Wealth disparity in our capitalistic society

Nobody can stop Mukesh Ambani from becoming world’s richest man. Now only problem is how do we teach him philanthropy and giving back to society; Teaching moral science story books to children are so important. What’s your take should we live in grabby-world or lend-a-hand world? #Jio

I was wondering why my friends have different views then mine on Ambani's wealth? And on pondering. I got the answer that I was coming from the point of view that we operate in unhealthy capitalistic society whereas they are were coming from point of view that we operate in healthy capitalistic society.

This difference of healthy versus unhealthy capitalistic society is the moot point. But it's impact is very different and very real in our life. Let me explain it with a simple example.

Imagine that there are just 5 people living in this world. They get 2 apples each everyday, 1 apple is enough for everyone to stay alive.

In Utopian world everyone is happy to get 2 apples everyday. In a healthy capitalistic world A, B,C gets 1 apple each. D gets 2 apples and E gets 5 apples. In an unhealthy capitalistic world A dies since he doesn't get any apple, B and C gets 1 apple each, D gets 2 apples and E gets 6 apples.

Now I don't know if we are living in unjust unhealthy capitalistic world. And in most probability no one does. Economist, politicians and bureaucrats are the ones who are closest to find out with data and it's impact in world but they have their own interest, objectives and outlook.

From above example you would have got it that apples is metaphor for money (or all the resources of the world) and A dying means A is either dying of hunger, or dying of poverty or something else. We should at least curb death by hunger. Have we reached to the point that we can curb it? In the unhealthy capitalistic world even the healthy body and mind willing to work ready to give his sweat and blood can still die of hunger because the problem of hunger here is systemic in unhealthy capitalistic society. In this world it doesn't matter if E is honest in doing his business dealings and D is a disciplined tax payer.

B,C,D and E can't solve this problem if they say we just have to look for ourselves. The biggest problem is our inability to see that there is a problem in 1st place. A,B and C don't have say in society since they are from poor strata. Most of us are in D including media, bureaucrats. We are far from ground reality of A's death by hunger. Capitalist and politician are in E some might say they are in their luxury bubble some might say they have worked hard to reach there. But irony is they are not helping A at all. Philanthropy or Giving back to society is one thing, that I know could be part of solution, implementing effective universal basic income could be another. (how it will be effective? - We don’t know, but we can hope for it)

All above is just to ensure that A gets at least one apple to eat everyday and we don't kill him of hunger. A's next big problem is dying of poverty which we see in newspapers in form of farmers suicide, suicide because of personal loan, home loan, stress and depression. Scenario is grim even to think about it.

Wealth disparity is there for sure there is data for that but, am I imagining unhealthy capitalism, Is it there? And to what degree and extent is it there? 🤔
